چکیده
With the rapid growth of vigilance that cognitive radio participate an essential task in wireless communication to resolve the spectrum scarcity vs. under-utilization dilemma owing to the dormant spectrum supervision policies. In this study, we explore the innovative scenario that the secondary user frequently has to trade off between two goals at the same time: one is to maximize its own throughput; and the other is to minimize interference at primary receiver. In conclusion, the author give a novel idea about the seminal work of spectrum sharing by minimizing transmit power strategy and maximizing Signal to Interference plus Noise Ratio (SINR) strategy which are inversely and directly proportional according to the condition of separation angles.

Spectrum sharing is an essential enabling functionality to allow the coexistence between primary user (PU) and cognitive users (CUs) in the same frequency band. In this paper, we consider joint rate and power allocation in cognitive radio networks by using game theory. The optimum rates and powers are obtained by iteratively maximizing each CU’s utility function, which is designed to guarantee ...

A new relay selection and resource allocation scheme for cognitive two-way relay networks based on bipartite matching algorithm is proposed in this work. We assume a primarysecondary network such that both primary and secondary users utilize the licensed spectrum, simultaneously. In this scenario, some of cognitive radio (CR) nodes are selected by matching algorithm as relays to provide a bidir...

Cognitive radios are a natural evolution of Software Defined Radios (SDRs) that are supposed to be equipped with the ability to learn their RF environment and reconfigurability. A cognitive radio can communicate over a primary user’s channel as long as the introduced interference does not degrade the primary Single-to-Interference-plusNoise-Ratio (SINR) below its minimum Quality of Service (QoS...
متن کاملFair, efficient, and power-optimized spectrum sharing scheme for cognitive radio networks
The cognitive radio network (CRN) is a promising solution to the problem of spectrum scarcity. To achieve efficient spectrum utilization, cognitive radio requires a robust spectrum sensing and spectrum sharing scheme. Therefore, spectrum sharing scheme plays a key role in achieving the optimal utilization of the available spectrum. The spectrum sharing in CRN is more challenging than traditiona...
